What we do

These are the jobs we get asked for most. We handle each one ourselves, from the ground prep to the final finish.
Block-Paving
Drives, paths and hardstanding laid on a compacted base. Edges set firm and kiln-dried sand brushed in so the blocks lock tight.

Stone and slab patios laid level, with a gentle fall away from the house so rain runs off instead of sitting against your walls.

Full replacements. We take the old drive out, sort the ground underneath and lay a surface built to carry a car every day.

Crumbling mortar raked out and replaced. It keeps the weather out of your brickwork and makes a tired wall look sharp again.

Close-board and picket fencing on concrete posts, with gates to match. Set in straight and solid so it stands up to the wind.

Every job starts below ground.
A drive or patio is only as good as what sits under it. That is where most bad jobs go wrong, so it is the part we never rush.
Look and price
We come out, measure up and check the ground, drainage and access. You get one clear price for the whole job.
Dig out and prepare
The old surface comes up and goes away. We dig to the right depth, deal with soft spots and set the levels so water drains off.
Lay the base
Compacted sub-base, edging set firm, then the bedding layer. You never see it, but it is what stops sinking and rocking later.
Finish and clear up
Paving, slabs or pointing laid neat, with clean cuts at the edges. We check every level, brush in and leave the site tidy.
